Creepy!

Could you tell me some of the street names that were in "Capeheart Housing"?? Or if you remember anything about the 11 year old boy that was found in the dishwasher?

I lived in Cape Hart in Wichita Falls in the early 1970's. I recently went back to see my old home and neighborhood. I noticed that some homes, including my old home :( - have been demolished. However, everything looked the same, lawns are still perfect, the trees are mature and they are updating some of the home's interiors.

I lived there as a child in the early 1970's. I was there recently and all the houses look as I remember, I love their perfectly cut lawns too. I am wondering if some of the house numbers have changed though?

It's a nice "legend" but Wichita Falls was named for the village of Wichita Indians who lived along the river at this location and not because a family of Commanche Indians crossed the river here and said the water is waist deep.

I went to elementary school here from 1954 to 1959. Still have good memories of teachers and fellow students.
