Wichita Falls, Texas

Wichita Falls is a city in Wichita County, Texas, United States. A 2007 estimate placed the population at 101,590. It is the principal city of the Wichita Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Archer and Wichita counties. The city is the county seat of Wichita County.

Sheppard Air Force Base, a United States Air Force base, is located in Wichita Falls.

Wichita Falls is sister city to Fürstenfeldbruck in Bavaria, Germany.

    I lived in Cape Hart in Wichita Falls in the early 1970's. I recently went back to see my old home and neighborhood. I noticed that some homes, including my old home :( - have been demolished. However, everything looked the same, lawns are still perfect, the trees are mature and they are updating some of the home's interiors.

    I lived there as a child in the early 1970's. I was there recently and all the houses look as I remember, I love their perfectly cut lawns too. I am wondering if some of the house numbers have changed though?
